The name Figment comes from the word meaning “something that seems real, but is not” - a reflection of our approach to cosmetic tattooing. Our results are designed to look effortless and natural, enhancing your features subtly.
Fiona Moss is a Melbourne-based dermal clinician with over a decade of experience across skin, beauty, and health. She holds a Diploma of Beauty Therapy, Bachelor of Health Science (Dermal Therapies), Professional Diploma of Dermoscopy, and nationally accredited cosmetic tattoo certification - blending clinical knowledge with aesthetic expertise.
Fiona began cosmetic tattooing in 2016 during her final year of university, completing post-operative micropigmentation training for breast cancer survivors. She later trained privately with one of Australia’s cosmetic tattoo pioneers, and has since built a quiet reputation within the industry — with clients and professionals travelling Australia-wide to sit in her chair.
Fiona’s background in both education and clinical practice shapes every treatment she performs. Her techniques prioritise skin integrity, long-term results, and sustainability - meaning beautiful outcomes that age well and can be maintained safely over time.
Alongside Figment, Fiona works in clinical education and sessional lecturing at Victoria University, consults for an internationally recognised skincare company, and performs skin cancer assessments as a dermatoscopist - keeping her practice deeply connected to real-world skin health.
